SNB Felicitates Muslims at Eid, Launches Online Registration Portal for Broadcasters

The Society of Nigerian Broadcasters (SNB), Katsina State Chapter, has extended Eid-el-Adha greetings to Muslim faithful across Katsina State and Nigeria, while unveiling a new online registration platform for broadcasters.

In a statement issued by the Acting Secretary of the Society, Shamsuddeen Habibu, on behalf of the Chairman, Comrade Haruna Shitu Gozaki, the association congratulated members, journalists, media practitioners, security agencies and other stakeholders on the Sallah celebration.

The Society praised the administration of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda for its support to the media sector and ongoing efforts to promote peace, unity and socio-economic development in Katsina State.

SNB also commended journalists and broadcasters for their professionalism, dedication and sacrifices in ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information, especially during festive periods.

Describing Eid-el-Adha as a season that reflects sacrifice, obedience, compassion and love, the Society urged residents to continue praying for peace, stability and progress in Katsina State and Nigeria.

The association further called on citizens to celebrate responsibly, maintain peaceful coexistence and support security agencies to ensure a peaceful Sallah celebration.

Meanwhile, the Society announced that it has simplified its registration process by migrating from manual applications to an online platform.

According to the statement, interested broadcasters can now register through the SNB portal or contact the Katsina State secretariat for further details.
