This high-stakes meeting follows their recent discussions with UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed in Washington D.C.
The agenda focused on exploring strategies for regional development, resulting in a resolution to form a technical working group dedicated to crafting a comprehensive development framework.
Attendees included Governors Uba Sani (Kaduna), Abba Kabir (Kano), Dr. Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), Umar Namadi (Jigawa), Nasir Idris (Kebbi), and Ahmed Aliyu (Sokoto), represented by Deputy Governor Alhaji Idris Mohammed Gobir.
