Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, graced the Fidau prayer for the late Hajiya Hauwa (Maijeddah) Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, wife of the Chief of Staff Government House Katsina, Alhaji Abdulkadir Nasir Mamman.
The prayer session, which took place at his residence in Layout, Katsina, attracted a large gathering of dignitaries, government officials, family members, and sympathizers from within and outside the state.
Prominent Islamic scholars led special prayers for the peaceful repose of the deceased, seeking Almighty Allah’s forgiveness and mercy upon her soul. They also prayed for strength, patience, and fortitude for the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
Governor Radda offered prayers for the deceased and extended his condolences to the family over the painful loss.
Those in attendance included the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura; federal and state lawmakers; Chief of Staff Zamfara State Government, Mouktar Muhammed Lugga and the Principal Private Secretary to the Governor, Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji.
Others were the District Head of Malumfashi and Galadiman Katsina,Justice Sadiq Abdullahi Mahuta, members of the Katsina State Executive Council, local government chairmen, political leaders, members of the business community, religious leaders, and Islamic scholars.
