Forum of Edo Democrats (FEDD), has lauded the outstanding human qualities of Hon Festus Ese , describing him as the best man to drive socio-economic and infrastructural development in Orhionmwon East Constituency when elected as the member, representing the constituency at the Edo State House of Assembly.
The forum whose membership is drawn from all local clans that constituted Orhionmwon East Constituency of Edo State, welcomed the recent decision of Hon Festus Ese to seek the election into the Edo State House of Assembbly to represent Orhionmwon East Constituency in 2027.
In a statement issued in Benin city, the forum group noted that Hon Festus Ese’s invaluable contributions towards deepening democracy in Edo state and Nigeria, cannot be overemphasized, describing his latest decision to vie for Orhionmwon state Constituency seat election come next year, as a true reflection of yearning of majority the people of Orhionmwon East constituency of Edo state.
The statement by the think-tank group was signed by the President, Surveyor Osagie John and Deacon Emmanuel Okunbor.
Continuing, forum of Edo Democrats (FEDD) noted that Hon Festus Ese has remained unwavering in his commitment to societal building and development.
The group affirmed its confidence in the ability and capacity of Hon Festus Ese to make impactful laws that will foster youth, men and women empowerment in Orhionmwon East Constituency, and as well as strengthened relevant institutions of democratic governance in Edo state if supported to emerge as the member representing Orhionmwon East Constituency come next year.
Forum of Edo Democrat (FEDD), pledged to rally maximum support and bulk votes for Hon Festus Ese to emerge victorious in party primary election, and the main poll in 2027.
The pro-democracy group therefore used the medium to commend the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo state for issuing its state house of assembly seat ticket to Hon Festus Ese, whom it described as best brain for the legislative job.
It further urged all eligible people from Orhionmwon East state Constituency to participate in the ongoing nationwide voters registration exercise by the Independent national electoral commission, so as to enable them exercise their franchise in next year’s general election in the country.
“Citizens of this country should ensure they register and collect their permanent voters cards (PVC), because, it is the only weapon and power vested on citizens by the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, to effect a change in government, and vote in credible people to mount leadership saddle in all levels in the country,”The organization advised.
