As Muslims in Nigeria join the global community to celebrate Eid-el-Maulud, Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Ahmad, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Interior, has called for prayers for peace and religious tolerance in the nation.
In a goodwill message signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Sardauna Francis, Ahmad urged Muslims to embrace the values of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) – peace, honesty, sacrifice, and perseverance – during this sacred commemoration.
The Dujiman Katsina emphasized that these virtues are key to ensuring security and unity across Nigeria.
He also encouraged Nigerians to be patriotic and patient, assuring them that the federal and state governments are working hard to secure the nation’s future.
Ahmad extended his heartfelt wishes for a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Maulud celebration, reminding the faithful of the importance of Prophet Muhammad’s timeless teachings.
