In a fiery post on her X account, Conservative MP Kemi Badenoch laid the blame for the UK’s economic woes squarely on the Labour government. Highlighting rising inflation, a contracting economy, and fears gripping businesses and charities, Badenoch accused the Prime Minister of making “bad choices and a bad budget.”
“Pensioners are struggling to heat their homes, and Labour’s empty promises only expose their incompetence,” she charged, warning that the country’s future hangs in the balance.
Labour has yet to respond to Badenoch’s criticism, but the statement adds to growing tensions as the government faces mounting scrutiny over its economic policies.
