African Democratic Congress (ADC) Ward Executives from 37 electoral wards across the three Local Government Areas of Tafawa Balewa, Dass and Bogoro have dumped for the party for what they described injustices in the in the conduct of primary elections.
The party wards included Boi, Bar, Dundot, Lere North, Lusa, Mwari, Wandi, Bununu, Gambar, among other wards across the three Local Government Areas of Dass, Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro.
The ADC defectors attributed their action to what they described as twice shortchanging of the party’s aspirant to the Tafawa Balewa/Dass/Bogoro federal constituency, Danjuma Bala Mohammed, alias Rafawa during the party primaries.
Defectors who presented their letter of resignation from the ADC, argued that it was Rafawa who promoted the course of the ADC in the three Local Government Areas, only to be shortchanged after winning the part primaries.
Some of the three Local Governments party ALGON chairmen, Abdullahi Adamu, Adamu Musa, Sunday Ilya who spoke during letters of resignation presentation, said they were solidly behind the ADC federal constituency aspirant, Danjuma Bala Mohammed whom they said, has already dumped the party.
“Wherever the ADC federal constituency aspirant, Rafawa is moving politically, we will pitch tent with him, he is our political party”, defecting Dahiru Mohammed stated.
Others who spoke at the letters presentation occasion, Ayuba Bashir, commended Danjuma Bala Mohammed, Rafawa for his repellent against injustices.
