 2027 Campaign Council, charging members to embark){kind=link}

Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris, has inaugurated the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2027 Campaign Council, charging members to embark on aggressive grassroots mobilisation to secure victory for the party in all elective positions in the forthcoming general elections.
Governor Idris gave the charge on Sunday during the inauguration ceremony held at the Presidential Lodge, Birnin Kebbi, where he urged members of the council to demonstrate unwavering commitment, dedication and determination in delivering on their electoral responsibilities.
The governor described Kebbi as a stronghold of the APC, stressing that the party must not take its political dominance in the state for granted ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He challenged members of the campaign council and other party stakeholders to return to their respective communities, reconnect with the electorate and intensify mobilisation efforts to ensure the success of all APC candidates.
Idris emphasised the need for unity, collective responsibility and sustained engagement with party supporters, urging the council to work tirelessly towards securing victory for the party from top to bottom.
The governor’s charge underscores the APC’s determination to consolidate its political strength in Kebbi State and extend its winning streak across all elective positions in 2027.
Speaking at the event, APC State Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Kana-Zuru, commended Governor Idris for his consistent support for the party and commitment to strengthening its political structures.
Kana-Zuru urged members of the newly inaugurated council to embrace teamwork, remain focused and discharge their assignments with dedication, noting that the success of the campaign would depend largely on their collective efforts.
In his remarks, the Director-General of the Campaign Council and former Governor of Kebbi State, Ambassador Saidu Dakingari, expressed appreciation to Governor Idris for entrusting him and other members with the responsibility of coordinating the party’s 2027 campaign.
Dakingari assured the governor that the council would work diligently, harmoniously and collectively to achieve the desired electoral victory.
He pledged that members would give their best to mobilise support for the APC and ensure the party’s success in the forthcoming general elections.
The inauguration marks a significant step in the APC’s preparations for the 2027 polls, as the party moves to strengthen its grassroots structures and rally stakeholders behind its candidates across Kebbi State.
