The Sokoto-based All Progressive Congress (APC) Youth Support Group, has condemned the recent wave of sponsored allegations against the Sen. Abdulaziz Yari, describing the campaign as politically motivated distractions aimed at tarnishing their hard-earned reputations.
This is contained in a statement signed by the association’s leader, Malam Usman Aminu, and made available to the newsmen on Monday.
Aminu described the allegations as baseless and handwork of political detractors who are threatened by the unity and progress within the APC.
He insisting that the allegations were entirely fabricated to distract Sen. Yari from his legislative duties and his unwavering commitment to the progress of the nation.
” Sen. Yari remains fully dedicated and working tirelessly to ensure the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. Any narrative suggesting otherwise is completely false.
” The group categorically debunked the malicious rumor that Sen. Yari is sponsoring any ‘Tinubu Must Go’ protests.
” It’s a desperate attempt by opposition elements to create a rift where none exists.
“We will not stand by and watch political merchants defame our leaders. Sen. Yari’s loyalty to the APC and President Tinubu is unquestionable,” Aminu said.
He urged group members and the general public as well as the media to disregard these sponsored falsehoods and remain focused on supporting the Renewed Hope agenda of the current administration.
” We are already preparing to seek redress in a court of law to ensure that those spreading these falsehoods are held legally accountable.” He added.
