Troops of Operation Fansan Yamma have neutralised several bandits including kingpins, recovered guns and motorcycles in Matazu local government area of Katsina State.
A report from security operatives disclosed this to the Newsmen on Monday.
The source said incident occured at Ginchawa Forest in Matazu LGA adding that items recovered included two PKT Machine Guns, AK47 Rifles and assorted rounds of various calibres.
According to the source, others included three motorcycles, two mobile phones, camouflage uniforms and five radios.
The source added that dozens of rustled livestock were also recovered during the coordinated encountered and reassured increased military commitment on protecting peoples lives and properties.
