The Renewed Hope Alliance Initiative Nigeria (RHAiN) has stepped up its grassroots mobilisation drive in Katsina State with the inauguration of coordinators across all 34 Local Government Areas of the state.
The development signals a fresh phase in the organisation’s campaign to take the achievements and programmes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umar Radda, directly to communities ahead of the forthcoming political campaigns.
The inauguration ceremony, held in Katsina, was conducted under the leadership of the Chairman of the Renewed Hope Programme and former Deputy Governor of Katsina State, His Excellency Tukur Ahmed Jikamshi.
The event brought together political leaders, government officials, members of the Katsina State House of Assembly, commissioners, stakeholders and supporters of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Governor Radda was represented at the occasion by his Chief of Staff, Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir.
Among other dignitaries in attendance were the Chairman of RHAiN, Dr Abba Y. Abdullahi; Wazirin Ibrahim Masari; Alhaji Labiru Musa Kafur; lawmakers, commissioners, senior government officials and other political stakeholders.
Radda’s Chief of Staff Charges Coordinators on Grassroots Mobilisation
Addressing the gathering, Governor Radda’s representative, Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, challenged the newly inaugurated coordinators to take the message of the Renewed Hope Agenda to the people at the grassroots.
He urged members of RHAiN to remain active and organised as they work towards building public awareness around the policies, programmes and achievements of both the Tinubu and Radda administrations.
Mamman Nasir stressed that effective grassroots engagement remained critical, urging the coordinators to interact directly with citizens and ensure that government initiatives were properly communicated across Katsina’s 34 LGAs.
He also highlighted what he described as significant development strides recorded under the Radda administration, encouraging RHAiN members to educate residents about projects and programmes being implemented across the state.
The Chief of Staff called on the coordinators to remain committed to their responsibilities and maintain a peaceful and constructive approach in their engagement with communities.
RHAiN Unveils Door-to-Door Mobilisation Plan
In his remarks, the RHAiN Coordinator, Hon. Ibrahim Musa Kallah, outlined the organisation’s plans to deepen its grassroots presence across Katsina State.
Kallah highlighted key initiatives of President Tinubu under the Renewed Hope Agenda and development programmes being implemented by Governor Radda in Katsina.
He said RHAiN would use its expanding grassroots structure to promote public enlightenment, civic engagement and awareness of government policies.
According to him, the inauguration of the 34 coordinators has provided the organisation with the structure required to move into communities and engage directly with residents.
He announced that RHAiN is set to commence a door-to-door mobilisation campaign across all 34 Local Government Areas, with coordinators expected to engage citizens, community leaders and other stakeholders.
The campaign, he explained, would focus on taking information about the Renewed Hope Agenda and the achievements of the Tinubu and Radda administrations to residents at the grassroots.
Kallah said the organisation would prioritise direct interaction with communities rather than relying solely on conventional political gatherings.
He described the inauguration as an important milestone for RHAiN, saying the new coordinators would serve as the organisation’s link with communities across Katsina State.
Organisation Reaffirms Commitment to Renewed Hope Agenda
Kallah expressed appreciation to Governor Dikko Umar Radda, Tukur Ahmed Jikamshi, Dr Abba Y. Abdullahi, government officials, political leaders and other stakeholders for their support towards the initiative.
He reaffirmed RHAiN’s commitment to supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda while promoting peaceful democratic participation and stronger engagement between government and citizens.
The inauguration of the 34 Local Government Coordinators effectively marks the beginning of a new chapter for RHAiN in Katsina State, with the organisation now poised to move its mobilisation efforts from organisational structures into communities.
With coordinators spread across the state’s 34 LGAs, the initiative is expected to intensify its grassroots outreach as political activities gather momentum ahead of the forthcoming campaigns.
