Iyaloja General Movement Begins Nationwide Grassroots Push for Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda

Katsina State Government

…….Group targets stronger unity, APC participation, stakeholder engagement and community development

By Abdullahi Inuwa

The Iyaloja General Movement for Renewed Hope Alliance has commenced efforts to build a formidable grassroots network aimed at mobilising citizens and stakeholders in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The movement said its emergence was driven by the need to promote unity, cooperation, peaceful coexistence and constructive engagement among Nigerians, particularly at the community level.

It said it intends to bring together market associations, traditional and community leaders, women and youth groups, professionals, civil society organisations and other stakeholders under a common platform focused on peaceful engagement and development.

A major priority of the movement is to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and political participation, with particular attention to activities of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The organisation said it would encourage wider participation in community and political activities while creating greater awareness of government programmes and policies among citizens.

According to the movement, grassroots engagement should not be limited to political mobilisation but should also provide a channel through which communities can express their concerns, contribute ideas and participate in initiatives that affect their development.

The group also outlined plans for sustained engagement with traditional rulers, community leaders, market organisations, women and youth bodies, professional associations and civil society groups.

It said such engagement would help create an atmosphere for dialogue, consultation and peaceful resolution of community concerns.

The movement further expressed its commitment to supporting initiatives of President Tinubu, particularly programmes and policies linked to the Renewed Hope Agenda.

It said its support would be anchored on constructive participation, public awareness and community-level engagement rather than confrontation.

The organisation also identified trust, transparency, accountability and service to the community as key principles that would guide its activities.

It said building a credible and sustainable grassroots network requires responsible leadership, openness and a commitment to serving the interests of communities.

The movement maintained that stronger cooperation among citizens and stakeholders could contribute significantly to peaceful communities, increased political participation and improved grassroots development.

It therefore called on individuals and organisations that share its vision of unity, peaceful coexistence and community participation to support its efforts to establish a broad-based network across the country.

The Iyaloja General Movement said its ultimate objective is to create a platform where citizens can work together, engage relevant authorities constructively and contribute to the success of initiatives designed to advance the Renewed Hope Agenda.
