The Kano State Hisbah Board, led by Commandant Malam Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, has issued a stern ultimatum, giving individuals involved in promoting immoral behaviors a two-week deadline to either repent or leave Kano.
Following a reconciliatory meeting with the Governor of Kano State, Malam Daurawa expressed confidence that recent disagreements would strengthen the effectiveness of Hisbah operations.
The commission has introduced a repentance form, urging those engaged in immoral activities to either step aside or face expulsion from Kano.
In a bid to cleanse Kano of immoral activities, the Governor has appealed for Malam Daurawa to continue as the Commandant of Hisbah and spearhead reforms.
