Radda Reaches Across Religious Divide, Visits Shia Leader

KATSINA — In a fresh show of commitment to religious harmony and peaceful coexistence, Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has paid a private visit to the leader of the Shia community in the state, Sheikh Yakubu Yahaya Katsina.

The governor’s visit, which took place on Sunday night, was marked by warm exchanges, prayers and discussions centred on peace and unity in Katsina State.

Radda and Sheikh Yakubu exchanged greetings during the private meeting and offered prayers for continued stability, understanding and peaceful coexistence among the people of the state.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of maintaining dialogue and mutual respect among Katsina’s various religious communities, particularly at a time when unity remains vital to the state’s development and security.
