The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has issued a stern warning to criminal elements to stay away from all examination centres as the ongoing Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Computer-Based Test gathers momentum across the state.

In a statement signed by Timfon John, the Command assured candidates and the public that robust security arrangements have been deployed to guarantee a smooth and hitch-free exercise.

The police cautioned that anyone found loitering, attempting to disrupt the exams, or engaging in malpractice will be swiftly arrested and prosecuted.

Parents and guardians were also advised to avoid crowding exam venues, stressing that only accredited candidates and authorized officials will be allowed access.

Reaffirming its commitment to safety and exam integrity, the Command disclosed that officers have been strategically stationed across centres, with surveillance operations intensified to deter any threats.

Residents were urged to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities, as the police wished all candidates success in their examinations.
