…..Mourns Death of Chief of Staff’s Wife

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Hajia Hauwa (Maijeddah) Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, the wife of the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Katsina State.

Hajia Hauwa passed away on Tuesday evening in Kano after a brief illness.

The Governor described the deceased as a woman of remarkable humility, strong moral character, and exemplary interpersonal relationships.

He noted that she was widely respected by family members, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Governor Radda said her death is not only a painful loss to the Chief of Staff and the bereaved family but also to the wider circle of relatives, friends, and associates.

He added that her passing has created a deep vacuum that will be greatly felt.

“Her passing is a great shock and a painful loss to us all. We pray Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her eternal rest,” the Governor stated.

The Governor also extended his condolences to Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir, the entire family, relatives, friends, and associates of the deceased, praying that Allah (SWT) grant them the strength, patience, and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

He further prayed that Almighty Allah forgive the deceased, expand her grave, and grant her Aljannatul Firdaus.

The funeral prayer (Janazah) is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 15th April 2026, at 1:00 p.m., after the Zuhr prayer, at the GRA Mosque.
