The Katsina State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Hajiya Hadiza Babangida Abdullahi Dutsanma, wife of retired Assistant Commandant-General (ACG) Babangida Abdullahi Dutsanma.
Hajiya Hadiza died on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Katsina, after a prolonged illness.
In a condolence message, the State Commandant, NSCDC Katsina Command, Commandant of Corps AD Moriki, described the deceased as a woman of remarkable wisdom, compassion and integrity whose life made a positive impact on those around her.
Moriki, who expressed shock over the news of her passing, extended his condolences to the NSCDC Commandant-General, Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, retired ACG Babangida Abdullahi Dutsanma, members of the bereaved family and the people of Katsina State.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant her eternal rest and admit her into Jannatul Firdausi.
The NSCDC Katsina Command also prayed for strength and comfort for the bereaved family as they mourn the loss of their beloved wife, mother and relative.
The condolence message was signed by SC Buhari Hamisu, Corps Deputy Public Relations Officer (CDPRO), Katsina Command, on behalf of the State Commandant.
