Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, on Monday joined the Muslim Ummah, family members, friends and associates at the funeral prayer for the late retired career civil servant and former Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Abu Danmalam Karofi.
The funeral prayer was held at the deceased’s residence in Rafukka, Kofar Sauri, Katsina.
After the prayer, Governor Radda joined other mourners at the cemetery, where the remains of the deceased was laid to rest.
Alhaji Abu Danmalam Karofi, popularly known as ADK and fondly called “Raya Karkaran Katsina,” died after a short illness.
Governor Radda prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings, reward his good deeds and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.
The Governor was accompanied by the Chief of Staff, Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir; Principal Private Secretary, Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji; and other top government officials, including members of the State Executive Council.
