A fresh political storm is brewing around former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, following a blistering attack by APC chieftain, Biodun Ajiboye.
Ajiboye has challenged Obi’s supporters to point to just one statement by the former governor that could, in his words, be described as “intelligent,” while also dismissing Obi’s performance as governor and accusing him of dishonesty.
The APC figure made the remarks in a sweeping criticism of Obi’s political record and public persona.
“Tell me one thing that you can categorize as intelligent that Peter Obi has ever said, just one.”
Ajiboye did not stop there. He went on to deliver an even harsher verdict on Obi’s tenure as Anambra governor.
“As governor, he was a failure, and he’s a liar! Everybody knows!”
Political Analysts Weigh In
Political analysts say the latest comments reflect the increasingly combative nature of Nigeria’s political discourse, particularly as politicians and their supporters continue to debate the records and leadership credentials of prominent opposition figures.
