TSO Endorses Tinubu, Kebbi Governor Idris for Second Term Ahead of 2027

Borno State Government

The Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO) has thrown its weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris, formally endorsing both leaders for a second term in office ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

The endorsement was announced during a well-attended gathering at the Presidential Banquet Hall in Birnin Kebbi, where members of the organisation, party faithful, and supporters reaffirmed their loyalty to the leadership of President Tinubu and Governor Idris.

The event marked another boost for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as political groups and supporters continue to position themselves ahead of the next electoral cycle.

Speaking at the occasion, the National President of the Tinubu Support Organisation, Aminu Suleiman, recalled the group’s extensive mobilisation efforts that contributed to President Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 presidential election.

He expressed satisfaction with what he described as the achievements of the Tinubu administration, noting that the organisation remained fully committed to supporting the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Suleiman also praised Governor Nasir Idris, describing him as a visionary leader whose administration has made significant strides in human capital development, infrastructure expansion, and empowerment programmes across Kebbi State.

According to him, the organisation would sustain its grassroots mobilisation efforts to ensure the re-election of both President Tinubu and Governor Idris in 2027.

“We remain committed to supporting leaders who have demonstrated commitment to development and the welfare of the people. We are confident that President Tinubu and Governor Nasir Idris will secure overwhelming support in the next elections,” he said.

Also speaking, the Kebbi State Coordinator of the Tinubu Support Organisation, Abubakar Habib Adam, reaffirmed the group’s endorsement, stressing that members would continue to champion initiatives aimed at improving the lives of Nigerians and promoting national development.

He noted that the organisation was prepared to intensify awareness campaigns and mobilisation activities in support of the President and the governor as the 2027 elections draw closer.

Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Governor Nasir Idris expressed appreciation to the people of Kebbi State and members of the organisation for what he described as another historic endorsement of President Tinubu.

The governor thanked Almighty Allah for the opportunity to witness the growing support for the President and pledged continued loyalty to the administration’s policies and programmes.

Governor Idris recalled that Kebbi State had already distinguished itself as the first state in the country to publicly endorse President Tinubu for a second term, referencing the massive endorsement rally previously held at the Haliru Abdu Stadium in Birnin Kebbi.

He attributed the sustained support for the President to the numerous Federal Government projects and interventions currently underway in Kebbi State, which he said have positively impacted the lives of residents.

According to the governor, the visible presence of federal projects across the state has strengthened public confidence in the administration and reinforced the bond between Kebbi people and the Presidency.

Political observers say the latest endorsement reflects growing efforts by support groups within the APC to consolidate backing for President Tinubu and key party leaders ahead of the 2027 elections.

With endorsements and political alignments already gathering momentum across the country, the TSO’s declaration is expected to add to the growing campaign for continuity under the Tinubu administration and Governor Idris’ leadership in Kebbi State.

For supporters at the event, the message was clear: the journey to 2027 has begun, and they want both President Tinubu and Governor Nasir Idris to remain at the helm for another term.
