Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on Sunday visited Ahoro, Esiele Yawota Community in Orire Local Government Area, where he met and consoled families affected by the abduction of a school principal, teachers, and pupils by suspected kidnappers.

In an emotional moment during the visit, the governor was seen comforting Professor Wole Alamu, whose wife—the school principal—was among those kidnapped in the shocking attack that has rattled the community and sparked widespread concern across the state.

Makinde assured residents that the government was working closely with security agencies to secure the safe release of all the victims and bring those responsible to justice.
