The Katsina State Government has relaxed the statewide curfew initially imposed to curb security challenges.
The curfew, which previously restricted movement from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, has now been adjusted to 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
This decision was announced by the Secretary to the Government of the State, Abdullahi Garba Faskari, following satisfaction expressed by the Acting Governor, Malam Faruk Lawal, HCIB, regarding the improved security situation across the state.
Governor Lawal praised the efforts of security personnel and the cooperation of the residents in supporting the government’s measures.
He urged the public to remain law-abiding as they resume their daily activities under the new curfew hours.
Abdullahi Aliyu Yar’adua, the Director of Press, conveyed this update on behalf of the Secretary to the Government of Katsina State.
