The Head of Civil Service Kano state, Alhaji Abdullahi Musa has described the death of a re known Kano Labour activist, Late Comrade Aminu Tafida as a collosal loss not only to Kano people but to the entire Labour family in the country.
Alhaji Abdullahi Musa who lead the management team of his office for a condolence visit to the families of Late labour leader prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased and the fortitude of the families to bear the irreparable loss.
Late Comrade Aminu Tafida who died at the age of 74, after protracted illness was a one time Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Kano state chapter.
During his life time, late Tafida was a passionate and dedicated labour leader and activist that demonstrated an appreciable skills in ensuring good welfare of workers as well as negotiations with employers of labour for a better service delivery.
In the same vein, the Head of Service has also paid similar visit to the families of Late Tukur Bello a senior civil servant in the state, who died yesterday.
Untill his death, late Tukur Bello was the Director Administration and General Services at the Kano State Commission for Almajiri and Out of Schools Children Education.
