Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has honored his commitment to improving educational infrastructure by providing 1,000 desks to Governor’s College, Kano.
During a visit to the school two months ago, The Governor observed students sitting on the floor due to the shortage of desks.
He immediately pledged to address the issue by providing furniture to create a more conducive learning environment for the students.
True to his word, the governor’s administration has now delivered the promised desks, greatly enhancing the conditions at the school.
The gesture reflects Governor Abba Yusuf dedication to the educational sector and the welfare of students across the state.
The chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of the school, Alhaji Muhammad Sani, expressed his gratitude for the governor’s intervention, praising his efforts to prioritize education and provide essential resources to schools.
This donation is part of the governor’s wider initiative to improve Kano State’s educational facilities, ensuring that schools are well-equipped to deliver quality education to all students.
