Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, on Wednesday, stormed Charanchi Local Government for the formal presentation and affirmation of the Chairman of Charanchi Local Government Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Sani Koda.
Alhaji Ibrahim Sani Koda emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) consensus candidate and flag bearer for the Katsina State House of Assembly in the upcoming 2027 general election.
The event, held at the Charanchi Local Government Secretariat, attracted a large gathering of party stakeholders, supporters, and dignitaries from across the area.
Governor Radda, accompanied by the Katsina State APC Chairman, Dr. Bashir Gambo Saulawa; the Member representing Charanchi/Rimi/Batagarawa Federal Constituency, Architect Usman Murtala Banye; and the Executive Secretary of the National Social Investment Programme Agency, Professor Badamasi Lawal Charanchi, formally presented the consensus candidate to party members.
Earlier, the Chairman of the APC Primary Elections Committee, Dr. Yakubu Maccido, announced the affirmation of Alhaji Ibrahim Sani Koda as the party’s candidate, following the successful conclusion of the party’s consensus selection process
