Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, received the Governor of Yobe State, His Excellency Mai Mala Buni, at Umaru Musa Yar’Adua International Airport.
From the airport, both governors proceeded to Bin Fodio Mosque, Modoji, Katsina, where they observed the Friday (Jumu’ah) prayers.
Governor Buni is in Katsina to commission the newly constructed and upgraded Ingawa–Shargalle Road, one of the key infrastructure projects executed by the Radda administration, with the commissioning ceremony scheduled to take place in Ingawa town.
The Governor was accompanied by the Minister of State for Works and Housing, Engr. Dr. Muttaqa Rabe Darma; Senator representing Funtua Zone, Hon. Muntari Dandutse; APC National Legal Adviser, Barr. Murtala Aliyu (Kankia); Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir; Principal Private Secretary (PPS) to the Governor, Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji; and the Coordinator of Auda-NEPAD, Hon. Jabiru Tsauri.
