The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has reacted to reports that a Federal High Court, presided over by Joyce O. Abdulmalik, nullified the emergence of its elected—but yet to be inaugurated—state chairmen.
In a swift response, the party clarified that its earlier position remains unchanged: the tenure of current state executives is still valid and will run its full course before any newly elected officials are sworn in.
The ADC leadership disclosed that its legal team has been directed to thoroughly examine the judgment and advise on the next line of action.
