In a recent ceremony at the Dangote Cement Plant in Gboko, Mr. Jonathan Kunde from the plant’s management hailed the peaceful and supportive nature of the communities, promising more interventions to come.

The Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, announced the distribution of thousands of bags of food, praising Aliko Dangote as the ‘Father of Charity’ in Nigeria.

The Emir of Tunga, Alhaji Muhammad Ibrahim Shaibu, hailed the Aliko Dangote Foundation’s National Food Intervention Programme as a vital support in alleviating economic hardships nationwide.

With 30,000 bags of rice recently donated to Nasarawa State alone, the Foundation’s impact continues to resonate across communities.

Adamawa State also received its share, with thirty-five thousand beneficiaries benefiting from the Million 10Kg Rice bags.

Abdullahi Bello Dan Musa, COO of Dangote Sugar Refinery, Numan, highlighted successful distribution efforts, emphasizing the Foundation’s commitment to reaching vulnerable Nigerians.

Anthony Chiejina, the company’s spokesman, emphasized that this initiative underscores Dangote’s ongoing dedication to alleviating economic hardships and supporting the government’s efforts.

The resounding success of this food scheme reflects a collaborative effort towards a hunger-free Nigeria.
