In a dramatic twist to Niger’s political crisis, the Bokayen groups, known for their deep-rooted mystical practices, have threatened to unleash “demonic spiritual forces” on countries allegedly plotting against Niger’s sovereignty.
The announcement comes amidst accusations by General Abdourahamane Tiani, Niger’s military leader, who claims that foreign nations, particularly those aligned with France, are using “Nigerian macarkar” – suspected infiltrators – to destabilize the country.
The Bokayen groups have vowed to counter these alleged conspiracies with spiritual warfare, declaring unwavering support for General Tiani’s leadership. They warned that any attempt to subvert Niger’s independence would be met with what they described as “mystical retaliation.”
The bold declaration has sparked intrigue and skepticism, with some viewing it as a rallying cry for national unity while others dismiss it as an unusual publicity stunt.
