The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof Nentawe Yiltwada, has praised Dr. Bala Maijama’a Wunti for his unwavering dedication to the party and the political vision of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, following the donation of 24 buses to strengthen grassroots mobilisation in Bauchi State.
Dr. Wunti, a candidate for the 2027 APC ticket for Bauchi governorship seat, donated the 18-seater buses to party structures across the state, including local government chairmen, zonal coordinators, and the state secretariat, in a move aimed at boosting outreach ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking at the handover ceremony in Bauchi, Prof Yiltwada described the gesture as both strategic and timely, noting that it reflects strong loyalty to the APC and a clear commitment to the success of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He said Wunti’s intervention demonstrates a deep understanding of grassroots politics and the importance of strengthening party structures at the local level, adding that such contributions set a standard for others within the party.
Prof Yiltwada, who was represented by the National Vice Chairman Northeast, Barrister Idris Shuaibu, also called for unity among party members in Bauchi State, assuring stakeholders of fairness and inclusivity as preparations gradually begin for future electoral contests.
On his part, Bauchi State APC Chairman, Hon. Hassan Tilde, represented by the Bauchi South Zonal Coordinator, Hon. Abdulmumini Kundak, urged beneficiaries to utilize the vehicles strictly for party activities.
He praised Dr. Wunti’s unwavering dedication, noting that the donation underscores his strategic vision, generosity and commitment to ensuring APC’s electoral success in Bauchi State.
“These vehicles will significantly ease mobility challenges and enhance effective mobilisation efforts at the grassroots level, thereby strengthening our political base,” he added.
Also speaking, the Chief Executive Officer of BWSO, Arch. Mukhtar Jarmajo, described the donation as a strategic contribution to the advancement of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda in Bauchi State.
“Political parties remain the backbone of any democratic system. Their strength, organisation, and reach directly influence governance and citizen engagement. This initiative is our way of reinforcing those structures to ensure effective political participation and sustainable democratic growth,” he said.
