Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, has confirmed the appointment of Alhaji Mohammed Abdu Kyari as Commissioner at the Borno State Local Government Service Commission.
In an executive communication to the Speaker of the Borno State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abdulkarim Lawan, Governor Zulum formally requested the House to confirm the appointment of Mohammed Abdu Kyari as Commissioner representing Borno North in the Commission.
“In accordance with the powers conferred on me by Section 198 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended), I hereby request the Honourable House to confirm the appointment of Mohammed Abdu Kyari as Commissioner representing Borno North at the Borno State Local Government Service Commission,” Zulum requested.
Governor Zulum expressed his appreciation for the continued support and collaboration between the executive and legislative arms of government, emphasizing the importance of a harmonious working relationship.
“I wish to seize this opportunity to extend the sincere appreciation of the Executive for the support, cooperation, and close working relationship extended to it by the Honourable House,” he added.
