UNICEF Scores Learning Outcomes Of Primary School Pupils High In Yobe

The United Nations Children’s Fund, (UNICEF) Borno Field Office has paid an scheduled visit to the Office of Education Secretary, Nguru LGEA, Alh. Hamisu Ado.

The Scheduled the visit formed part of the Specialist Visit to the LGEA.

During the Visit Led by the Education Specialist, Dr. Yusuf Isma’il, the Delegation went round all the participating schools accessing Foreign Common Wealth Development Organisation, (FCDO) Support.

Shortly after, during a town hall meeting with Chairman Nguru Local Government School Base Management Committee, Alh. Laminu Mustapha, Education Secretary, Alh. Hamisu Ado, Masters Trainers as well as the Nguru Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, (FLN) Taskforce, the Team Led commended them for their untiring efforts towards moving Education to the next level throughout the Locality.

Stating, ” we are to receive feedback on UNICEF Supported FLN Programmes in Nguru LGA, Yobe State.”

Therefore, ” we are fully satisfied by the Learning outcome of the teaming Pupils visited.”

Responding, Alh. Hamisu Ado, the Education Secretary, appreciated all the supports provided by the UNICEF.

Stating, ” like Oliver Twist – we are asking for more.”
