Former Senator Shehu Sani has taken to his X account to weigh in on the ongoing sit-at-home protests, calling them a legitimate form of civil disobedience when voluntary.

Sani emphasized that people have the right to peacefully stay home to express their grievances or advance their cause.

However, he condemned the use of force, threats, or violence to compel participation, labeling it “another form of tyranny or terror.”
