In a bid to foster peace amongst citizens of Dikwa community, the shehu of Dikwa has convened a meeting with District head of Dikwa and all ward and village heads under Dikwa the district to provide a platform in promoting peace and unity and teach their children on moral values.

The statement says The royal father convened the meeting at his palace in Dikwa the headquarters of Dikwa local Government noting that the meeting was aimed at strengthening ways to foster peace in their domains and calls on his subjects to continue to live in peace for the development of the state.
The Shehu of Dikwa Alhaji Ibrahim Ibn Umar Ibrahim Elkanem also warned the District, ward and Village heads to maintenance peace and unity in their domain, as well as to check mate the activities of their children, as Borno state is known as the home of peace and unity.
The shehu stressed the need for peace co-existence which he said was critical to the development of the state adding that all hand most be on deck to achieve good results.
The shehu of Dikwa further said that as displaced persons are now being resettled back to their places of abode, Government and civil society organizations are taking a holistic approach on how to provide their immediate needs as well as commended Governor BabaGana Umara Zulum for his developmental efforts to the people of Dikwa.
The royal father who led didtrict,ward and village heads to pray for the state and its leader express pleasure over the gathering which he said aimed at fostering the unity of Dikwa.
