The Senate has rejected a proposal seeking an investigation into military expenditure, even as lawmakers strongly condemned the recent wave of terrorist attacks across parts of the country and called for the immediate rescue of abducted victims.
The decision came during a heated plenary session where senators debated the nation’s worsening security situation and measures needed to curb the activities of terrorists, bandits, and kidnappers.
