The Nigerian Police force says the security agencies in the state have uncovered intelligence report that some miscrients were planning to unleash terror in some important places like Kano State House of Assembly and other government buildings.
The Commissioner of Police who was the chairman of joint Security Committee Muhammad Usaini Gumel disclosed this during a media briefing held at Kano on Sunday night
He said the joint security agencies will embark on house to house search on anybody who thinks he is above the law will punish by the law.
CP Mohammed Usaini Gumel said the security agencies would countinue to stand by the law,and would not relent in strict adherence to the Court Order.
He assured the general public of the security of lives and properties of the general pupulace
CP Mohammed Usaini Gumel urged the general public to countinue to Accord all the necessary support with the aim of ensuring peace .
He debunked rumours circulated on the social media that there was a protest in Kano,saying it was untrue and rumour perpetrated by miscrients who have bad intention to the development of the State.
In some development the places where redy to attacks is Resident of House Majority leader of Kano state House of Assembly Lawan Hussain and one state House of Assembly member in the name of Abdulmajid popularly knew as (Mai Rigar Fata).
