Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, joined Vice President Kashim Shettima, National Security Adviser Malam Nuhu Ribadu and other prominent Nigerians at the funeral and burial of the late mother of the Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, Barrister Hannatu Musa Musawa.
The funeral prayer was held at the National Mosque, Abuja, and was led by the Chief Imam of the National Mosque, Professor Ibrahim Ahmed Makari.
Among those in attendance were business mogul Alhaji Umaru Mutallab, former Minister of Aviation Hadi Sirika, and several other dignitaries from across the country.
Following the prayers, the deceased was laid to rest at Gudu Cemetery, Abuja, in accordance with Islamic rites.
Governor Radda was among the dignitaries who paid their final respects at the graveside, alongside Ribadu, the member representing Musawa/Matazu Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Ahmed, and other top government officials.
Also present were the Governor’s Principal Private Secretary, Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji, the Director-General of the Katsina State History and Culture Bureau, Dr. Kabir Ali Masanawa, family members, associates and sympathisers who gathered to mourn the loss and pray for the repose of the deceased.
The solemn ceremony drew a large crowd of political leaders, traditional figures and well-wishers, reflecting the widespread respect and support for the Musawa family during their moment of grief.
