Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has joined Islamic scholars, community leaders and worshippers at a Maulid gathering held in honour of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The Governor attended the night religious ceremony yesterday at the residence of Sheikh Abba Abu in Rafindadi, Katsina metropolis.
The gathering brought together prominent Islamic scholars, community leaders and faithful who came to commemorate the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet.
During the ceremony, prayers were offered for peace, unity and continued progress in Katsina State and Nigeria, while scholars delivered religious teachings highlighting the Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) exemplary character, compassion and commitment to justice.
Governor Radda’s participation underscored his continued engagement with Islamic scholars and religious communities across the state, as worshippers used the occasion to reflect on the teachings and legacy of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The Maulid celebration ended with prayers for divine guidance, peace and prosperity for the people of Katsina State and the country at large.
