Radda Blasts Nepotism in Civil Service, Questions Merit System

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has criticised the culture of favoritism and political influence in the state and local government service, warning that it is hindering growth and development.

The governor lamented that many public officials secure positions not on merit, but because of connections and powerful backers.

“In the state and local service, people get positions not because they deserve them, but because someone is behind them. How can we grow with this kind of attitude?” Radda queried.
