The people of Machina deserve leadership founded on truth, service, integrity, and genuine connection to the community, representation of any community should not be based merely on political appearances or seasonal engagement, but on sustained commitment, visible contributions, and consistent identification with the people.
According to one of the community leader Garab Adamu from Taganama ward said, in recent times, many concerned citizens have continued to ask an important question: who truly represents Machina, and on what basis should such a claim be made?
Community identity is earned through years of relationship, participation, sacrifice, and support for the people. A true son of any community is known not only by name, but by his presence in moments of joy and difficulty alike. He contributes to the development of the town, supports its youth, participates in community affairs, and remains connected to the people beyond periods of political interest.
Obviously the people of Machina therefore have every right to demand openness and clarity from individuals seeking political relevance in their name. It is legitimate for the community to ask critical questions regarding anyone laying claim to Machina’s identity and mandate:
What has been the individual’s relationship with the town? What measurable contributions has he made toward the development of the community? How consistently has he identified with and stood by the people outside political seasons?
These questions are neither personal attacks nor acts of hostility, they are necessary demands for accountability, sincerity, and responsible leadership.
Public office and community representation must be built on visible commitment, sacrifice, and loyalty to the people, not merely on political convenience.
According to them obviously Machina deserves leadership that promotes unity, honesty, peace, and development.
The community must remain vigilant and continue to support only individuals whose connection to the people is genuine and whose record of service is evident to all.
In the end, identity should not be reduced to a slogan or political tool. It must be demonstrated through service, presence, credibility, and unwavering commitment to the community.
