The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) is in discussions with Dangote Refinery regarding the pricing of petrol, with a proposed rate of N550 per litre in Lagos.
President Alhaji Abubakar Migandi Garima highlighted that the pricing would vary across regions due to logistical costs.
Garima emphasized the potential cost advantages of locally refined petrol over imports, citing reduced transportation expenses and access to domestic crude oil.
The ongoing negotiations aim to finalize pricing, margins, and other operational aspects before the refinery’s operations commence.
