The Katsina State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Aminu Datti Ahmad, has extended heartfelt condolences to Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda over the passing of his beloved mother, Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Barebari, who died at the age of 93 on Saturday, March 22, 2025.
Leading a delegation of senior officers, Commandant Ahmad visited Radda Village, Charanchi Local Government Area, to personally deliver the condolence message of NSCDC Commandant General, Ahmed Abubakar Audi.
“The Commandant General expresses his deepest sympathies on the passing of your beloved mother. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time,” Ahmad conveyed.
He described Hajiya Safara’u as a woman of great wisdom, strength, and compassion, whose legacy will continue to inspire many.
The visit saw the presence of top government officials, including Deputy Governor Faruq Lawal Jobe, Speaker of the State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura, Secretary to the Government Barrister Abdullahi Garba Faskari, and former Deputy Governor Alhaji Tukur Ahmed Jikamshi, among others.
The Commandant prayed for Allah’s mercy upon the deceased and her eternal rest in Jannatul Firdausi.
