The Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Dauda Iliya, Audu Abba Kurama, has extended warm congratulations to his boss on his recent appointment by the Executive Governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum.
In his message, Kurama hailed Comrade Dauda Iliya’s appointment as the spokesperson to Governor Zulum, describing it as a “well-deserved” recognition of Iliya’s vast experience and contributions as a seasoned journalist.
Kurama also commended Governor Zulum for his thoughtful selection of Iliya to fill the position left vacant by the late Mallam Isa Gusau, whose legacy continues to be honored. He prayed for the soul of the late Gusau and wished Iliya success as he embarks on his new responsibilities, expressing confidence in his ability to excel in the role.
