Jobe stated this shortly after observing the two rak’at Eid-el-Adha prayers at Dan-Fodio Jumu’at Mosque in the Modoji area of Katsina.

The Deputy Governor attributed the improving peace to deliberate strategies introduced by the current administration to restore safety and normalcy across communities affected by insecurity.

According to him, roads across the state are now largely accessible, markets are operating freely and residents can move about without fear.

“All the routes in the state are now motorable, markets are functioning, and people are moving freely again,” he said, describing the development as a positive sign of progress in the fight against insecurity.

Jobe also pledged continued prayers and support for lasting peace and stability in Katsina State.

The Eid prayers were led by Dr. Zakariyya Aliyu Sandamu and attended by hundreds of worshippers from across Katsina metropolis.
