In a landmark initiative, the Katsina State Government has flagged off the second batch of a special foreign scholarship program aimed at empowering 68 scholars to pursue advanced studies in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Biotechnology in China.
Speaking at the ceremony, Governor Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda emphasized his administration’s commitment to education and technology-driven empowerment for the youth. “This scholarship covers everything from passport fees to accommodation, ensuring students from poor backgrounds have the opportunity to excel without any financial burden,” the governor stated.
The program, designed to boost human capacity in AI and transform Katsina’s agricultural sector through Biotechnology, has sparked excitement among the beneficiaries. Armayu Nuhu, speaking on behalf of the scholars, expressed immense gratitude to the government for the life-changing opportunity.
