Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has announced an ambitious plan to establish a mini hydroelectric power station in Katsina State as part of a groundbreaking pilot project.
The initiative, aimed at delivering reliable and renewable energy to local communities, is set to leverage one of the state’s 43 dams as a model for sustainable development.
“This project represents our commitment to harnessing the potential of our natural resources for the benefit of our people,” Governor Radda stated, highlighting the long-term vision to replicate the initiative across the state’s remaining dams.
The mini hydroelectric power station promises to address the state’s energy challenges while driving economic growth and environmental sustainability.
