The Acting Governor of Katsina State, Malam Faruk Lawal, HCIB, has officially lifted the curfew imposed across the state. This decision, announced by the Secretary to the Government, Abdullahi Garba Faskari, comes as reports confirm prevailing peace and harmony throughout the region.
Malam Faruk Lawal emphasized that the lifting of the curfew is intended to allow residents to resume their daily activities without hindrance. He urged the public to remain vigilant, encouraging them to report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
The Acting Governor also reaffirmed the commitment of the Dikko Radda-led administration to addressing the state’s security challenges.
He expressed gratitude to the security agencies and the people of Katsina for their support and urged continued cooperation, emphasizing that peace is essential for meaningful development in the state.
