Kano Government Extends Palliatives to Karaye Emirate

Kano State Government’s Palliatives distribution across different sectors has been extended to Karaye emirate.

400 bags of 25kg rice was presented to the emirate by the Senior Special Assistant to Kano State governor on Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Mahmud Abbas Sanusi in company of the Chieftaincy Secretariat staff and newsmen.

Alhaji Mahmud Abbas Sanusi said the gesture was part of the state government’s committement to provide succour to people of the state in reducing hardship occassioned by the removal of fuel subsisy in the country.

Alhaji Mahmud Abbas Sanusi explained in details palliatives initiatives of Kano State government under governor Abba Kabir Yusuf aimed at making life bearable to people of the state.

Receiving the donation in his palace, the Emir of Karaye, Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar II, expressed happiness for the State government’s concern to it’s people welfare saying it is apt as many citizens in the nation are in difficult time.

Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar II called on people in the emirate and the state at large to continue to support the present administration and pray fervently for socio-economic development of the state.
