Kano Beautification Squad Eyes Park Operators

The Kano State Urban Beautification and Landscaping Agency has conducted an official tour to oversee the activities of Garden Parks Operators across the state.

The Operation which led by the Director General of the Agency, Arch. Danjuma Yusuf Zarewa, said the purpose of the tour was to ensure that the operators of Garden Parks and recreational centers adhere to national standards.

Danjuma Zarewa emphasized the importance of maintaining safety and security measures within the garden parks for the benefit of the people of Kano urging the operators to collaborate with the government in enhancing security efforts to combat insecurity in the state.

The Director General highlighted the significance of green spaces in providing clean and healthy oxygen for human well-being, underscoring the need for well-maintained garden parks across the state.

During the tour, the Agency commended operators who upheld cleanliness and security standards, specifically recognizing Divalah Garden located near Kofar Ruwa Underpass for its exemplary practices.

The Agency also addressed concerns regarding illegal structures and non-compliance with regulations, signaling the importance of adherence to government directives.

Operators of garden parks were advised to align with established guidelines and enhance security measures within their premises.

Alhaji Hassan, the Operator of Divallah Park, praised the government’s initiatives and encouraged his colleagues to collaborate in bolstering security measures at their respective locations.

The tour included visits to various garden parks such as Green Park along Ahmadu Bello Way near Alfurqan Juma’at Mosque, Chikenza Garden along Lodge Road, Nassarawa Park, and Kofar Ruwa Divallah Park. The Agency remains committed to promoting the beautification and standardization of Garden Parks in Kano, with a focus on improving overall safety and environmental quality for residents and visitors alike.
