This year’s theme was “Cultivating a Culture of Peace and Unity.”

Yakubu commended the Kaduna State Government, KSPC, and various civil society organizations for their efforts to foster peace and unity both locally and nationally.

He also expressed gratitude to the Interfaith Mediation Center (IMC), Search for Common Ground, Mercy Corps, and the Joint Initiative for Strategic Religious Action (JISRA) for their role in training Nigerian journalists in conflict-sensitive reporting.
